Beef Stir Fry with Cheese5 - 10 mins 5 - 10 people
Traditional beef stir fry is made more creamy and exciting with Eden Cheese! Perfect as a rice topping or to pack for baon.
1 lb., beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips/slices
1/4 cup, Soy sauce
1/4 cup, Cornstarch
1 pcs, Thumb-sized ginger, cut into thin strips
2-3 cloves, Garlic, finely chopped
1 pc, Small onion, sliced
1 pc, Small chayote, sliced
1 pc, Small red bell pepper, cut into strips
1/2 cup, Eden Cheese, cut into cubes
1/4 cup, Oyster sauce
Enough for frying, Cooking oil
Enough for seasoning, Pepper
Enough for topping, Sesame seeds
1 pc, Small carrot, sliced
In a bowl, marinate beef strips in soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
Heat cooking oil in a wok. Stir fry the marinated beef. Set aside.
On the same wok, saute ginger, garlic and onion. Cook until onion is translucent. Add chayote. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add carrots and bell pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
Add Eden cheese cubes, oyster sauce and sesame seeds. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Season with pepper. Serve.
