Cheesy Beef & Mushroom Empanada

Madaling i-prepare ang mga empanadas na 'to for baon or snacktime.


sliced, Eden Meltsarap

250 grams, Beef ground

30 grams, Garlic, chopped

30 grams, White onion, chopped

100 grams, Potato, diced

100 grams, Mushroom, diced

1 pc, Egg, beated

2 cups, All purpose flour, sifted

0.25 cup, Butter chilled

2 tbsp, Cold water

as desired, Vegetable oil for frying

Product Used:


Sautee onion and garlic in a pan and add beef then add mushrooms, potato, mix well until cooked then add salt & pepper to taste.

Put flour in a large bowl and add butter and combine until small pea size.

Add in water little by little until you form a dough

using a rolling pin, flatten out evenly the dough about 1/4" thick.

cut out dough to desired shape and stuff with meat mixture and slices of Eden Meltsarap then fold.

Lock in edges by pinching the sides and brush empanada with beaten egg and deep fry until gold in color.
