Cheesy Crab and Kangkong Embutido25 - 30 mins 5 - 10 people
Reinvent embutido! Make it with crab, kangkong, and of course, Eden cheese.
40 grams, Eden Original grated
40 grams, Eden Meltsarap sliced
250 grams, Crab Meat fresh
100 grams, Kangkong fresh/ picked/ blanched
20 grams, Carrots fresh/ finely chopped
20 grams, Potato fresh/ finely chopped
20 grams, Celery fresh/ finely chopped
20 grams, Spring Onions fresh/ finely chopped
2 tbsp, Butter
0.5 cup, Bread Crumbs prepared
1 pc, Egg beaten
Place butter in a pot over medium heat and sauté crab meat. Set aside.
Add blanched and chopped kangkong leaves and mix well.
Add carrots, potatoes, celery, spring onions, and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.
Chill mixture and transfer into a large bowl.
Add in grated Eden Original, bread crumbs and egg. Mix well until a bit firm in texture.
Place in foil and put the slices of Eden Meltsarap and wrap length-wise tightly.
Steam for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked though.
Remove from foil, slice and fry until golden in color.
Transfer to a plate.
