Cheesy Pesto Pasta


Generous amounts of cheese combine deliciously with pesto for the perfect pasta dish.
5 tbsp, Butter
2 tbsp, Flour
1 cup, Whole milk
1/2 cup, Prepared pesto
a pinch, Salt
a pinch, Pepper
350g, Spaghetti noodles
2 cups, Eden Original, grated
3/4 cup, Tomatoes, sliced
for garnishing, Basil
Cook pasta according to instructions on the packaging. Drain and set aside 1 cup pasta water.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle flour and stir. Add milk, whisk and cook for 5 minutes or until it thickens. Turn off heat and add pesto, salt and pepper.
In pasta pot, stir in butter and cheese until melted. Pour pasta into skillet with pesto sauce. Coat pasta evenly. Sprinkle hot pasta water while stirring to achieve the desired consistency of sauce.
Serve with fresh tomatoes and basil.
