A favorite veggie dish, spicy and creamy Laing gets an extra kick with Eden cheese.
25 pieces, Taro leaf (dahon ng gabi)
1/2 kilo, Pork, cubed
2 cups, Coconut milk
1 big head, Garlic, minced
2 small, Onions, minced
1/2 cup, Small dried shrimps, soaked
6 pieces, Minced chili pepper
1/2 cup, Eden cheese slices
3 tablespoons, Oil
1 tablespoon, Ginger, grated
Wash dried taro leaves and separate from stalk. Cut into 1" pieces.
In a pan, saute garlic, onion, ginger, and pork. Stir. Add in dried shrimp, hot chili pepper, and taro stalks. Cook until stalks are tender.
Add in taro leaf. Mix well. Pour in coconut milk and cook until it releases oil.
Add in Eden cheese slices. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
