Pinoy Tuna Melt10 - 15 mins 5 - 10 people
A Pinoy take on the classic tuna melt. Your kids will love this as a merienda treat or pambaon for school!
1 slice, Sourdough bread sliced/ toasted
0.5 can, Tunk Chunks (in brine) drained
2 tbsp, Japanese Mayonaise prepared
1 tbsp, Cilantro chopped
2 slices, Tomato sliced
15 grams, Lettuce picked
1 tsp, Sesame oil
50 grams, Eden Meltsarap grated (for cheese sauce)
1 tbsp, Butter (for cheese sauce)
2 tbsp, Cream (for cheese sauce)
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the cheese and bread.
Mix well until combined. Set aside.
Place mixture on top of the toasted sourdough bread.
Cheese Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a pot on medium heat and mix well until cheese is melted and smooth in texture.
Top tuna with Eden Meltsarap sauce and broil until golden in color.
