Tofu Sisig with Cheese1 - 5 mins 5 - 10 people
Crispy tofu tossed with a rich cheesy sauce makes for a melt-in-your-mouth appetizer!
8 blocks, Tofu, cut into quarters
1 clove, Minced garlic
1 pc, Green bell pepper, cubed
4 pcs, Siling labuyo, sliced thinly
1 cup, Mayonnaise
1/2 cup, Eden Cheese, grated
1/2 cup, Oyster sauce
To taste, Water
2 cups, Cooking oil for deep frying
Deep fry tofu cubes until brown on all sides. Set aside.
In a pan, saute in little oil garlic, onion, bell pepper and siling labuyo. Set aside.
In saucepan, heat mayonnaise, oyster sauce and grated Eden cheese.
Add water if too thick. When mixed well, fold into fried tofu. Add sauteed vegetables. Serve while hot.
