Beef Stir Fry with Cheese

Traditional beef stir fry is made more creamy and exciting with Eden Cheese! Perfect as a rice topping or to pack for baon.

Ingredients

1 LB BEEF SIRLOIN STEAK, CUT INTO THIN STRIPS/SLICES,  

1/4 CUP SOY SAUCE,  

1/4 CUP CORNSTARCH,  

1 THUMB-SIZED GINGER, CUT INTO THIN STRIPS,  

2-3 GARLIC CLOVES, FINELY CHOPPED,  

1 SMALL ONION, SLICED,  

1 SMALL CHAYOTE, SLICED,  

1 SMALL RED BELL PEPPER, CUT INTO STRIPS,  

1/2 CUP EDEN CHEESE, CUT INTO CUBES,  

1/4 CUP OYSTER SAUCE,  

COOKING OIL,  

PEPPER,  

SESAME SEEDS,  

1 SMALL CARROT, SLICED,

Method:

In a bowl, marinate the beef strips in soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.

Heat the cooking oil in a wok. Stir fry the marinated beef then set aside.

On the same wok, saute ginger, garlic, and onion. Cook until onion is translucent. Add chayote. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add carrots and bell pepper, then cook for 1 minute.

Add Eden cheese cubes, oyster sauce, and sesame seeds. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Season with pepper. Serve.
