Mommy Mona's cabbage rolls are stuffed with a flavor-rich bihon, pork, and tinapa mixture.
350G PANCIT BIHON,
1/2 CUP TINAPA FLAKES,
1/8 CUP CHICHARON POWDER,
TO TASTE, PORK FAT,
1/2 CUP, EDEN ORIGINAL, SHREDDED,
2 EGGS, BOILED,
2 CLOVES, GARLIC, TOASTED,
1 KG, GROUND PORK,
1/8 CUP, SHRIMP BROTH,
1 TBSP, CORNSTARCH,
6 LEAVES, PECHAY,
In a pan, saute garlic and ground pork in hot oil. Add the pork fat, shrimp broth, atsuete extract, cornstarch, and Eden Cheese. Mix and let sauce thicken.
In a pot, boil water and cook pancit bihon until softened.
Mix palabok sauce with cooked pancit bihon. Top with toasted garlic and sliced boiled egg.
Wrap palabok in pechay baguio and roll.
