Cheesy Crab and Kangkong Embutido

Reinvent embutido! Make it with crab, kangkong, and of course, Eden cheese.

Ingredients

40G EDEN CHEESE ORIGINAL, GRATED  

40G EDEN MELTSARAP, SLICED  

250G CRAB MEAT  

100G KANGKONG, PICKED/ BLANCHED  

20G CARROTS, FINELY CHOPPED  

20G POTATO, FINELY CHOPPED  

20G CELERY, FINELY CHOPPED  

20G SPRING ONIONS, FINELY CHOPPED  

2 TBSP BUTTER  

1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS, PREPARED  

1 EGG, BEATEN

Method:

Place butter in a pot over medium heat and sauté crab meat. Set aside.

Add the kangkong leaves and mix well. Add carrots, potatoes, celery, spring, and onions and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.

Chill the mixture and transfer it into a large bowl. Add in grated Eden Cheese Original, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix well until a bit firm in texture.

Place in foil and put the slices of Eden Meltsarap, then wrap length-wise tightly. Steam for about 20-25 minutes.

Remove from foil. Slice and fry until golden in color.

Transfer to a plate.
