Cheesy Embutido

A family gathering staple, embutido becomes even better with creamy Eden cheese.

Ingredients

1/2K LEAN GROUND PORK  

1/2 CUP CARROTS, FINELY CHOPPED  

1 CUP (SWEET OR COOKED) HAM, FINELY CHOPPED  

3 TBSP GREEN BELL PEPPER, MINCED  

3 TBSP RED BELL PEPPER, MINCED  

1/3 CUP SWEET PICKE RELISH  

1/4 CUP RAISINS  

3 WHOLE EGGS  

1/2 CUP EDEN CHEESE, GRATED  

DASH OF, LIQUID SEASONING  

SALT  

PEPPER  

1 TBSP CORNSTARCH  

12 SLICES EDEN CHEESE  

1 can4 HARD-BOILED EGGS, SLICED  

1 CAN VIENNA SAUSAGE, SLICED

Method:

Combine all ingredients except the Eden Cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and Vienna sausage.

Mix thoroughly. Spread pork mixture on an 8”x10” aluminum foil.

Arrange slices of hard-boiled eggs, sausages, and Eden Cheese alternately in the middle of the flat meat mixture.

Roll the to form a cylinder to lock the meat inside. Close the edges of the foil.

Place in a steamer and let it cook for 1 hour.

Place inside the refrigerator until the temperature turns cold.

Slice and serve.
