Cheesy Kimchi Fried Rice25 - 30 mins 5 - 10 people
Embrace traditional spicy Korean kimchi rice in creamy cheesiness.
1 ONION, CHOPPED,
1/2 GREEN CHILI PEPPER,
1 TBSP GARLIC, MINCED,
3/4 CUP KIMCHI, SLICED,
1 CAN TUNA IN WATER,
1/4 CUP LIQUID FROM KIMCHI,
3 CUPS RICE,
4 TBSP SESAME OIL,
1/2 CUP EDEN MELT SARAP, GRATED,
2 TBSP OIL,
1 TBSP SESAME OIL,
In a pan, saute onion and chili until onion turns translucent. Add garlic and sliced kimchi. Saute until the kimchi has slightly cooked and garlic has softened.
Add tuna to pan. Pour the liquid from kimchi and leave to cook until liquid has reduced.
Put the rice into the pan and mix. Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Move rice mixture to one side of the pan, crack the egg, and leave it to cook slightly. When egg is slightly cooked, mix it with rice.
Serve with grated cheese.
