Cheesy Kimchi Fried Rice

Embrace traditional spicy Korean kimchi rice in creamy cheesiness.


1, Onion, chopped

1/2, Green chili pepper

1 tbsp, Garlic, minced

3/4 cup, Kimchi, sliced

1 can, Tuna in water

1/4 cup, Liquid from kimchi

3 cups, Rice

4 tbsp, Sesame oil

1, Egg

1/2 cup, Eden Melt Sarap, grated

to taste, Salt

to taste, Pepper

2 tbsp, Oil

1 tbsp, Sesame oil

Product Used:


In a pan, saute onions and chili until onions are translucent. Add garlic and saute until soft. Add sliced kimchi. Stir and saute until kimchi is slightly cooked. Add tuna to pan and stir. Add liquid from kimchi and leave to cook until liquid reduces.

Add rice to the pan and mix. Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Move rice to one side of the pan. Crack egg and leave it to cook slightly. When egg is slightly cooked, mix into the rice and leave to cook.

Serve with grated cheese.
