Cheesy Pork Curry

This traditional Japanese pork curry recipe gets an extra creamy and cheesy kick.


4, Boneless pork chops

4, Shiso leaves

5, Eden Melt Sarap, slices

to taste, Salt

to taste, Pepper

1/2 cup, Flour

3, Eggs, beaten

3 cups, Panko bread crumbs

1/2 cup and 1 tbsp, Oil

1/2, Onion, sliced

2, Potatoes, cubed

2, Carrots, diced

1/3 cup, Japanese curry paste

3 cups, Water

4 cups, White rice, cooked

Product Used:


Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.

Cut a slit on the side of the pork chops. Insert the cheese and shiso leaf inside the cut.

Coat both sides of the pork chops in flour. Dip pork chops in the egg and roll in bread crumbs until evenly coated.

In a pot, heat oil until hot. Fry pork chops until golden brown on both sides. Drain on a paper towel and set aside. Slice into 1/2 inch slices before serving.

In a pan, saute onions until translucent. Add potatoes and carrots. Cook for around 1 minute. Add water and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add curry paste to vegetables and stir. Cook for 10 minutes on low heat and set aside.

Pour curry sauce over pork slices and rice. Top with Eden cheese. Serve and enjoy!
