Cheesy Pork Steak Rice Bowl

Prepare this comforting rice bowl topped with a cheesy, creamy sauce!


1 kg, thinly sliced, Beef

1/4 cup, Soy sauce

4 pieces, Calamansi

1/2 tsp, Ground black pepper

3 cloves, crushed, Garlic

1 large piece, sliced into rings, Onion

4 tbsp, Cooking oil

To taste, Salt

165g, Eden Original

1/2 cup, Fresh milk

1/2 cup, grated, Eden Meltsarap

Product Used:


Marinate pork in soy sauce, calamansi, and ground black pepper for at least 1 hour.

Heat the cooking oil in a pan then stir-fry the onion rings until the texture becomes soft. Set aside.

In the same pan where the onions were fried, fry the marinated pork (without the marinade) until color turns brown. Set aside.

Put garlic in the pan then saute for a few minutes. Pour the marinade and bring to a boil. Put in the fried beef and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is tender and add water as needed.

Add the stir-fried onions and some salt to taste. Remove from heat and ad thinly sliced Eden cheese.

To prepare the cheese sauce, pre-heat a pan and put 1/2 cup fresh milk. Heat milk over low fire.

Add grated cheese and stir from time to time until the sauce becomes sticky.

Prepare a bowl of hot rice and top with pork steak, cheese sauce, and additional cheese slices as desired.
