Liver Spread Sandwich10 - 15 mins 5 - 10 people
This recipe turns up the tastiness of liver spread by making it extra creamy.
4 tbsp, Butter
1/2 cup, Onion, finely chopped
1 lb, Chicken liver
2, Eggs, hard boiled and chopped
1/2 tsp, Salt
1/2 tsp, Mustard
1 tbsp, Parsley leaves, chopped
1/2 cup, Eden Sandwich Spread
In a pan, melt butter and cook onions for 3 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
Melt 2 tbsp of Eden Sandwich Spread in the same pan. Add chicken liver and cook for 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside to cool.
Chop chicken liver into small pieces. In a bowl, combine chicken liver with eggs, Eden Sandwich Spread, salt and mustard. Mix well then cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
After chilling, use mixture as sandwich filling. Add parsley and hard boiled egg slices to garnish sandwiches and serve.
