Monggo Guisado with Cheese5 - 10 mins 5 - 10 people
Grated Eden cheese is stirred into a hot bowl of monggo for a creamy finishing touch!
1 cup, Whole mongo beans
4 cups, Water
2 tbsp, Cooking oil
5 cloves, Minced garlic
1 pc, Onion, chopped
3 pcs, Red tomatoes, chopped
1/4 kg, Pork strips
1/2 tsp, Salt
1/4 tsp, Pepper
1/4 cup, Eden Cheese, grated
1 cup, Malunggay leaves
Soak mongo beans in water and stir. Remove floating particles.
In a saucepan, sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes. Add in pork strips.
Pour in beans with water. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer and stir occasionally until beans are tender.
Stir in grated Eden cheese and malunggay leaves. Serve hot.
