Monggo Soup with Cheese

This bowl of monggo is full of the good stuff - ampalaya, malunggay, pork, and of course Eden cheese.


1 cup, Monggo

1/4 kilo, Ground pork

1 bunch, Malunggay leaves

1 bunch, Ampalaya leaves

3 cloves, Garlic, chopped

1, Onion, chopped

2, Tomatoes, diced

2 cups, Water

a pinch, Salt

a pinch, Pepper

1/2 cup, Eden Original, grated

Product Used:


In a pan, saute onion, garlic and tomatoes. Once soft, add ground pork and cook in medium heat for 1-2 mins.

Add monggo to the meat. Stir and add 1 cup water. Cover and cook for 15-18 mins. Add more water if necessary and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in malunggay and ampalaya leaves. Add around 1 cup of water. Boil and cook for 5 more mins. Add salt to taste.

Serve in a bowl and top with grated Eden cheese.
