Monggo Soup with Cheese

This bowl of monggo is full of the good stuff - ampalaya, malunggay, pork, and of course Eden cheese.


1 CUP MONGGO, Monggo

1/4 KILO GROUND PORK, Ground pork

1 BUNCH MALUNGGAY LEAVES, Malunggay leaves

1 BUNCH AMPALAYA LEAVES, Ampalaya leaves

3 GARLIC CLOVES, CHOPPED, Garlic, chopped

1 ONION, CHOPPED, Onion, chopped

2 TOMATOES, DICED, Tomatoes, diced


SALT, Salt

PEPPER, Pepper

1/2 CUP EDEN ORIGINAL, GRATED, Eden Original, grated

Product Used:


In a pan, saute onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Once soft, add the ground pork and cook in medium heat for 1-2 mins.

Add monggo to the meat. Stir and pour 1 cup of water. Cover and cook for 15-18 mins. Add more water if necessary and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in malunggay and ampalaya leaves. Add around 1 cup of water. Boil and cook for 5 more minutes. Add salt to taste.

Serve in a bowl and top with grated Eden cheese.
