Pinoy Bistek with Cheese25 - 30 mins 5 - 10 people
With just a few ingredients, this classic beef dish is easy to prepare and easy to love!
1/2 KG BEEF SIRLOIN, THINLY SLICED
1 BIG ONION, CUT INTO RINGS
1 TBSP COOKING OIL
2 CUPS WATER
1/2 CUPS SOY SAUCE
2 TBSP CALAMANSI
EDEN CHEESE, SLICED
Marinate the meat in soy sauce and calamansi juice for at least an hour. Transfer to a pan and add water.
Boil and simmer until the meat is tender. Remove the water and set aside the liquid for later.
In the same pan, fry the meat. Fry the onion rings separately. Once done, set aside onion rings.
Simmer the fried meat with the reserved liquid for 5 minutes.
Top with Eden cheese and onion rings. Simmer for 2 minutes, then serve.
