Spicy Korean Chicken with Cheese30+ mins 5 - 10 people
Also known as Buldak, this Korean chicken dish is both spicy and cheesy!
1/2 CUP RED CHILI POWDER,
2 TBSP GOCHUJANG PASTE,
1 TBSP SOY SAUCE,
1 TBSP SESAME OIL,
2 TSP SESAME SEEDS,
1/4 CUP HONEY,
6 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED,
1 SMALL GINGER, MINCED,
2 CELERY STALKS, MINCED,
2 CUPS, EDEN MELT SARAP, CUBED,
4 HALVES SKINLESS BONELESS CHICKEN BREAST, SLICED INTO 1-INCH CUBES,
In a bowl, combine chili powder, gochujang paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, honey, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
Mix in chicken breast cubes and coat evenly in the spicy mixture. Transfer coated chicken to a skillet. Add rice wine vinegar to leftover sauce from the bowl and pour over the chicken.
Cover skillet and cook over medium heat. Leave to simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Once cooked, remove from heat and top the chicken with Eden cheese cubes.
Bake the chicken in the oven at 350F for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted. Top with celery and serve.
